I need your money.
It’ll help me.
I need your car and I need your love.
So won’t you help a brother out?
Won’t you help a brother out, out, out, out?

I never get tired of it.
If I can be really conceited for a moment:
I always love it when I’m a persons first experience with a gay man. I mean, normally it’s something I find awkward and frankly lamentable. But sometimes there are people that I meet that just make a lasting impression with me, and I them.
Often, I hear that “I’m not like other gay guys”, and I’m not really sure what that means, because frankly I think I’m entirely like them. But I’m flattered that their experience and impression of me is a positive one. Because frankly, sometimes us gays can be damn foolish, and just end up leaving them straightfolk confused.
But when I meet someone who’s genuinely curious about homosexuality, what it’s like to be a homosexual, and ask questions that are stimulating and intellectual, I’m always left breathless. It’s kind of inspiring to see that more and more people, especially guys, who are becoming more accepting of my lifestyle. Especially when they’re really hot, and don’t get offended when I hit on them tongue-in-cheekedly (? is that even a phrase? #Idon’treallycare)
So, to all of the straight people who say that they’re glad to have met me, and that I make a good impression on the gay community, I say:
No, thank you for being open minded enough to see beyond stereotyping, and for being able to explore something vicariously, and understand that you yourself will not be affected by doing so.

There are no words for how much this makes me smile.
